Google Ads is a highly effective form of digital advertising, as it can deliver immediate results and quickly generate targeted traffic to a website. Through paid campaigns, businesses are able to appear at the top of search engine results for specific keywords, significantly increasing their visibility in a short period of time.

However, the main drawback of Google Ads is cost. In many industries, competition is extremely high, which drives up the cost per click (CPC). As a result, maintaining a consistent presence through paid ads often requires continuous financial investment. For this reason, relying solely on paid advertising is generally not considered a sustainable long-term strategy for promoting a website.

This is where SEO (Search Engine Optimization) comes in. SEO refers to a set of strategies and techniques aimed at improving a website’s organic ranking in search engine results, without paying for each click or impression. In other words, instead of buying visibility, SEO focuses on earning it through relevance, quality, and authority.

These strategies include, among others, creating high-quality and relevant content, properly optimizing keywords, improving website structure and navigation, increasing page loading speed, and acquiring authoritative backlinks from other trusted websites.

Unlike Google Ads, SEO does not produce immediate results. It is a long-term process that may take several months or even years to show its full impact. Additionally, there is no absolute guarantee of success, as search engine rankings depend on multiple factors, including competition within a given industry and ongoing algorithm updates.

Nevertheless, when implemented correctly, SEO can generate stable and continuous organic traffic over time. It reduces dependence on paid advertising and contributes to the long-term growth and sustainability of a website or online business.
